Preventing Erectile Dysfunction

Prevent The Problem Before You Need To Find Solutions

There aren’t many problems that are as painful (or more) to our sense of manhood and pride as erectile dysfunction. If you’ve experienced this problem at least once then you know what I mean. According to Medical Times Today, “it’s estimated that one in four men over 35 has issues with erectile dysfunction—and the percentage rises quickly as men age” (1). So, it’s clearly an issue we need to address.

However, there are so many “get hard quick” schemes and artificial methods to get an erection that leave most of us still waiting for the effects to kick in or for them to go away. “The reality is that an estimated 70 percent of all men don’t respond to popular pills like Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra. Some get a partial erection, but that doesn’t allow for full sexual activity. And don’t forget the dangerous side effects and drug interactions associated with those pills, which prevent many guys from taking them at all” (1).”

The answer comes in preventing ED before it even begins. How can we do that? By taking care of our bodies and making sure that we follow some basic rules for health and sexual well being. Here are five steps you can take to promote your pecker to continue poking before the pills need to get prescribed.

Stop Eating Hydrogenated Oils

These oils are what clog arteries. If you arteries are clogged then the blood supply from your heart will be limited and unable to fully produce the erections that you need to have fulfilling sexual intercourse. Hydrogenated oils are found in vegetable oils like soybean, safflower, cottonseed, sunflower, etc. They are in food items found in packaged food and fast food. So, what oils to use then? Here is your list of oils that you should almost NEVER deviate from: coconut oil, red palm oil, olive oil, any nut oils (except for peanut), bacon grease/pork lard, beef tallow, and duck fat. If you stick to those oils you’ll not only stop your arteries from clogging but you'll also ensure that you get fuller longer and have lasting energy throughout your day. It's two for one deal!

Get Some Rest

If your body is burnt out and beat down and stressed out of its mind then your body literally will not have the energy to procreate because it's focused on just surviving. Thrive don't just survive. This can be done with a few tools, one of which is sleep. Sleep is when our body resets and things go back to the way they are supposed to. However you should know that not all sleep is useful. Only deep sleep is going to restore function to your systems. The way to get deep restorative sleep is by sleeping in a blacked out room (buy black out curtains), avoid blue light from computers before bed (or buy blight blocking glasses), get morning sunlight everyday, and create a tranquil sleeping environment in your bedroom. With that you can achieve deep restful sleep every night which will facilitate recovery and thus less stress and a harder hard.

Reduce Stress

Stress is a killer - we all know that. But did you know that it can actually make it impossible for you to get it up when you're too stressed? When your mind is thinking about the bills or the meeting tomorrow with your boss do you feel like fornicating? Not at all. Nonetheless, there are ways to mitigate stress before it eats away your soul (and your sex life). Qi-Gong is a moving meditation that is known to help alleviate stress by relaxing the body and mind through syncing your breath with movement. You can also try spending time in nature especially by putting your feet in the ground which gives you negative ions that are grounding and relaxing. Tree hugging might just save your sex life so give it a try before you knock it.

Eat More Nitric Oxide Rich Foods

Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which relaxes the inner muscles of your blood vessels causing them to widen thus increasing blood flow. This makes for a harder erection due to the blood flow. Some nitric oxide rich foods include beets, meat, garlic, dark chocolate, leafy greens, pomegranate, nuts, seeds, watermelon, and red wine. Some of these foods either contain nitrates or increase the production or bio-availability of nitric oxide within the body. So, if you want more blood flow and a better ability to get it up in time for a passionate love making session then eat some of the foods at dinner and then enjoy your lover for dessert.

Stop Watching Porn

When you watch porn you are training your brain to need stimulus in order to get an erection and release. The problem doesn’t come from the once or twice you do it but when it becomes a habit it can wreak havoc on your sex life due to your need to see an image in order to get and maitain an erection. When we get used to seeing images and videos online it changes the way we view and interact with people in real life. The novelty of porn and the ability to change constantly makes the mind crave what’s new instead of what you already have in front of you. Quitting porn has been the best thing I have done to not only improve my sex life but also my relationship with my significant other. Try it. Quit porn for 3 months and if you want to masterbate use mental images instead of actual photos or videos. You’ll see what I mean in 3 months ;)

In conclusion, if you want to prevent erectile dysfunction and/or reverse it without needing any supplements or pills then take the five steps above and actually give them a try. If you put in the effort and be patient you can achieve great results with little outside help. However, if you find that even though you have stopped eating hydrogenated oils, got plenty of consistent rest, reduced your stress levels, ate more nitric oxide rich foods, AND stopped watching porn yet you still can’t get or maintain an erection then feel free to come and see us at dynamic wellness so we can share with you some of the different peptides and therapies we offer that can help you achieve the solid steel you deserve without any crazy side effects.
